Overview

The Fort of Sant Estêvão more commonly known as Juvem Fort or the Fort of Jua was built in 1668. From the village of Sant Estevam, the Fort can be reached by climbing a number of roughly shaped steps. The climb is tough but is well worth the effort and at the top is a modern but impressive shrine to Christ the King.
