Overview
The Naval Aviation Museum is a military aviation museum located in Bogmalo, 6 kilometres from Vasco da Gama, Goa. Inaugurated in 1998, this museum is one of just two military museums in all of India, and the sole naval aviation museum in all of Asia. Its open-air gallery proudly showcases a variety of aircraft that were utilized by the Indian Navy over the years. Inside, the museum boasts a unique design that mimics the interior of the INS Viraat naval aircraft carrier. Visitors can explore a range of intriguing galleries that feature naval equipment, key battles, a simulation room, and an expansive granite plaque that pays homage to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country.
